DDC Shopian visits sites proposed for upcoming developmental projects

Shopian: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar on Saturday visited various sites, proposed for upcoming developmental projects in the district.
The DDC visited Sofanaman, Aglar, Shirmal and Doomwani areas to take stock of the availability and feasibility of land for the various public benefit purposes.
The land has been requested for availability and transfer by J&K Housing Board, JKHPMC and other departments for establishment of Housing Colonies for urban homeless, development of nurseries by HPMC among others.
The DDC was accompanied by concerned revenue officers who were instructed to take further action for measurement, demarcation and allotment of land for utilisation.
DDC and MD JKHPMC, Naseem Javid Chowdhary, who was also present at the site at Doomwani, attended to an inter departmental coordination issue with regard to the fencing of allotted land, which was resolved on spot.
The DC was accompanied by ACR, Shakoor Ahmed Dar; DIO, Showkat Hussain Ganie and other officials of the revenue department.
