Progress on verification of scanned & digitized revenue records reviewed at B’pora

Bandipora : The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Zaffar Hussain Shawl on Friday chaired a meeting with Officers and officials from the Revenue Department to evaluate the progress of the ongoing verification of scanned/ digitized revenue records.
On the occasion, the ADC emphasized the correctness of revenue records and the need for swift completion of the verification to facilitate public access at the earliest.
During the review, he stressed the importance of cross-checking the data with the Land Records Information Management System (LRIMS) to improve transparency and service efficiency.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani, presented a detailed overview of the digitization process, highlighting the progress of verification at the tehsil level and specific milestones achieved.
The review examined different modules of land record digitization, providing an overview of the progress achieved and the challenges faced.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora, SDM Sumbal, Tehsildars and other revenue officials. Apart from this, SDM Gurez and Tehsildars from the Gurez Sub-Division attended the meeting virtually.
