By deploying mobile legal awareness vans, DLSA Ganderbal’s aim is to break down barriers and provide access to justice for all, particularly the underprivileged, disadvantaged, and weaker segments of society in rural and far off areas of the District.
A team of Panel Lawyers, PLVs (Adhikar Mitras), Social Activist and representatives of police department accompanied the vans in order to provide accessible free and competent legal aid to all, particularly marginalized communities in the rural areas.

They event began by spreading awareness across the district, covering areas like Dursuma Manigam, Wussan, Kangan, Ganiwan, Mammer, Sumbal Bala, Gund etc. The team’s enthusiastic campaign, marked by raising slogans like “Break your silence & raise your voice,” has already generated interest among legal aid seekers, with several grievances/ applications received during the day long programme.
