Srinagar: In order to make policing services available to the people living in far flung areas, DIG SKR Javid Iqbal Mantoo in presence of SSP Kulgam and other senior officers inaugurated new Police Post at D.K Marg Kulgam. The Police Post comes under Police Station D.H Pora.
This establishment has brought policing at the door steps of general public of the area who used to face lot of inconvenience for any sort of Police assistance from the nearest police station, as the people had to travel as far as 25 Kms to the Police Station D.H Pora. People of the village Marg and adjacent areas applauded the efforts of J&K Police for inaugurating the said Police Post in their vicinity for their convenience.
