Srinagar : BJP MLAs led by Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition in the J&K Assembly, called upon Atal Dulloo, Chief Secretary, J&K, and Mandeep Kour, Commissioner Secretary to the Government (Housing & Urban Development Department).
The BJP MLAs pressed upon the senior government officials to take stock of the grave situation that had arisen due to the strike by the ‘Sanitation Workers’. They asked them to immediately intervene and reach a conclusive decision to end the stalemate, giving a satisfactory response to the workers and to end their strike to ensure uninterrupted services to society.
BJP MLAs also pressed upon the authorities to include the Local Allottees and the West Pakistan Refugees in the beneficiary list of “Prime Minister Kissan Samman Nidhi”.
They pointed out that the PM Kissan Samman Nidhi is already being given to the PoJK Refugees and the benefit should now be extended to the Local Allottees and the West Pakistan Refugees.
