Baramulla : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa on Wednesday conducted a thorough assessment of the ongoing construction work of Fly-Over at Sangrama on the Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway NH1.
During the visit, the DDC and a team of officers conducted a thorough on-site inspection of the flyover, assessing the current progress and reviewing the project deadlines for its completion.
The officers in charge of executing the project provided the DDC with a detailed overview encompassing the current status, progress, and projected timeline, and it was further informed that the project was in the last stages of its completion with only minor works remaining.
While reviewing the progress of the project, the DDC directed the concerned executing agencies to expedite the work on the project and complete it within the stipulated time frame, which will significantly help in decongestion of the traffic at Sangrama Chowk, benefiting commuters travelling on NH1. The DDC was accompanied by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Raina and engineers from the executing agencies.
