Srinagar : The President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah Monday paid a visit to Mirwaiz Manzil in Nigeen to offer his condolences to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on the passing of Mirwaiz Moulvi Mohammad Ahmed Shah, who recently passed away in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Offering his condolences to Mirwaiz the NC President prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of jannat and fortitude to the bereaved household. He also offered Fatiha for the deceased. Later he visited SMHS Hospital in Srinagar to personally meet with those who were injured in the recent grenade attack at TRC, Srinagar. Dr. Abdullah expressed concern over the health conditions of the injured individuals and urged the hospital authorities to ensure that all necessary medical facilities are provided for their swift recovery.
