Power Shutdown In Kashmir Parts

Power outages caused by gusty winds Saturday restored fully by Sunday morning

Srinagar : According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out the erection of 13mtr long ST Poles and other works with respect to evacuation of power from GIS Tengpora Grid, the shutdown of below mentioned 33KV lines shall be observed which will subsequently affect electricity to given areas.
The shutdown of 33KV GIS Tengpora Danderkha line, GIS Tengpora Exhibition line, GIS Tengpora K P Bagh line, GIS Tengpora Narkara line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Danderkha, Exhibition Batmaloo and Narkara Gangbugh shall remain off while the power supply to the Danderkha, Exhibition Batmaloo, Narkara and Gangbugh areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 02:00 Noon on 02 November, 2024.
Similarly, in order to carry out augmentation/ stabilization of Awantipora-Awantipora line and Awantipora- Naroo line, the shutdown of 33 KV Awantipora-Awantipora line and 33KV Awantpora-Naroo line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Awantipora I, II, AIIMS, IUST, DPL AWP, LIS Rajpora and Mills; Naroo, LIS Koil and Stage-I, III shall remain off while power supply to the Malangpora, Padgampora, Beighpora, Barsoo and Awantipora; Ratnipora, Lajoora, Puchal and Naroo areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 02 & 04 November, 2024.
To carry out stabilization/ branch cutting and necessary maintenance, the shutdown of 33 KV Budgam Kremshore and Budgam Ichgam lines shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Kremshore, Khan Sahib, Raithan and Brenwar; Choon, Ichgam, Kanir andHanjoora shall remain off while the power supply to the Kremshore, Bugroo, Parnewa, Khan Sahib, Raithan and Brenwar; Choon, Qazibagh, Naroo, Ichgam, Kanir, Hanjoora and Barwah areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 02 &04 November, 2024.
Also, to carry out routine and periodical maintenance work, the shutdown of 200 MVA 132/33 KV GSS Wanganpora and 100 MVA 132/33 KV GSS BAM Khan shall be observed from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 05 November, 2024.
In order to carry out branch cutting and preventive maintenance, the shutdown of 200KV Wagoora Zainakote Ckt-Ist shall be observed on 04 November, 2024.
Likewise, In order to carry out improvement/stabilization works, the shutdown of 33 KV Mattan-Pahalgam line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at AIS Pahalgam, GIS Pahalgam and Batkoot shall remain off while the power supply to the Pahalgam Town, Chandanwari, Aru, Yanner, Langenbal, Batkoot and Ladii areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:30 PM on 03 &07 November, 2024.
To carry out reconductoring of 33KV Khanyar Rainawari line, the shutdown of 33 KV Wanganpora-Khanyar and Wanganpora-Tankanwari lines shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Khanyar, Rainawari and Takanwai shall remain off while the power supply to the Miskeenbagh, Rozabal, Makhdoom Sb, Hazaribagh, Jogilanker, JLNM Hospital, Kondbal, Palpora, Sangam, Islamia College and Hassanabad areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 02, 04 &06 November, 2024.
Further, to carry out branch cutting, the shutdown of 33 KV Peerniya line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Peerniya shall remain off while the power supply to the Zehanpora, Gantmulla and Phalipora areas will be affected from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on 04 November, 2024.
To carry out branch cutting, the shutdown of 33 KV Budgam SIDCO Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Budgam and SIDCO shall remain off while the power supply to the Housing Colony, Ompora, Budgam, Sebdan, Mirgund, Nasrullahpora and Jawalapora areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 07 November, 2024.
