Srinagar: Police in Awantipora facilitated special achievers among kids of police martyrs besides organised a cultural programme at DPL Awantipora.
The SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar and other officers of police district felicitated special achievers among kids of Police Martyrs. During the programme, appreciation certificates and cash reward were presented to them as a token of love and encouragement. SSP Awantipora conveyed his gratitude to the meritorious students and their families. He thanked everyone personally and assured unflinching support for the welfare and security of kith and kin of martyrs.
Moreover, a cultural programme was organised at District Police Lines Awantipora in which students of different schools of PD Awantipora participated. Various artists performed skits and other musical performances especially pertaining to Patriotic themes. SSP Awantipora along with SDPO Awantipora, DySP DAR Awantipora distributed appreciation certificates and cash rewards among outstanding ones and also participation certificates among all the participants at the conclusion of the event.
Besides, prize distribution ceremony of sports events organised during Police Flag day week viz Badminton, Volleyball etc was also held and winners & runner ups were awarded with cash prizes, trophies and medals .
