Srinagar: In the loving memory of police martyrs and to give salutation to them, police under ‘Police Flag Day Week-2024’ organized a mini-marathon “Run for Unity” in Ganderbal.
The Mini-Marathon started from Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Kangan and culminated at Sindh View Environmental (Dumping) Park Kijipora. School students & youth of sub-division Kangan participated with huge fervour & enthusiasm in this event besides, officers & officials of police also participated.
The Marathon was flagged off by DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal Nazir Ahmad, accompanied by SHO Police Station Kangan & other senior Police officers. At the conclusion of the event, 1st, 2nd & 3rd position holders were awarded with cash prizes & appreciation certificates.
