Jammu : A five day long Civil Defence basic training program concluded on Saturday at Ram Lakhan Dass Memorial Hr. Sec. School, Burj in Jammu. The Staff of the School and 100 students attended the basic training. The said
training was given by the Civil Defence Experts on the knowledge of First Aid,
prevention, management and control of Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking and
other basic life saving technique and preventive measures during the natural/
manmade disaster. On this occasion, a demonstration on first aid fire fighting including improvised emergency rescue methods during road accidents etc. was presented by the Civil Defence team. Sh. Dalbir Singh, Principal of the School appreciated and thanked the Civil Defence team for imparting such training programme. R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Sh. Kuldeep Kumar, Post warden and coordinator of the training and other staff of the School also present on the occasion.
