One-day CBP under Mission YUVA held at B’pora

Bandipora : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, one day capacity building programme (CBP) under Mission YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan) was conducted on Wednesday by District Employment and Counseling Centre centre Bandipora in collaboration with District Administration in the Conference Hall Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.
On the occasion, ADDC Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt delivered an insightful speech and highlighted the significance of entrepreneurship in driving local economic growth and creating jobs. He urged young people to leverage the government support offered through Mission YUVA and to focus on developing sustainable, scalable businesses.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC stressed upon all stakeholders to establish Bandipora as a thriving hub of enterprises and holistic employment by fostering entrepreneurship culture.
Dr Murtaza Rashid OSD, Mission Youth, J&K gave a detailed presentation on Project YUVA and enumerated on topics including Creation of Nano Entrepreneurs and new MSMEs in focus and Sunrise Sectors, Business acceleration of existing enterprises, creation of Neo-Innovative Enterprises etc.
The day-long capacity building programme was designed to enhance knowledge about Mission YUVA, aimed to support unemployed individuals in developing small enterprises and MSMEs, as well as accelerating the growth of existing businesses.
The programme was aimed to raise awareness about generation of new employment opportunities through enterprise creation, development of a cross-sectoral business support ecosystem for growth of entrepreneurship at all levels, increase in GDP through business enhancement of existing enterprises & collectives, creation of employment opportunities for high-skilled unemployed youth.
The programme was attended by CPO Bandipora, M Maqbool lone, DPO ICDS Bandipora, DSWO Bandipora, ALC Bandipora, AD employment Bandipora, BDO’s, representatives from different banks and other concerned.
