Shopian : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar on Saturday convened a meeting of district and sectoral officers at Mini Secretariat, here to review the progress of ongoing developmental works.
The DDC reviewed department wise progress of ongoing works and asked for expediting the work completion.
He also sought requirements for new works, upgradation, re-modelling, renovation and strengthening of existing infrastructure from department heads in the furtherance of public benefits.
The DDC said that the officers must be at the forefront and proactive in taking up public welfare and development activities and prioritise the same for fruition. They were further impressed to work with zeal and be accessible to the public.
The meeting was also attended by ADDC, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone, ACR, CPO and other district/ sectoral and block level officers.
