Slathia lauds people for making BJP largest vote gainer of J&K

Samba : Pradesh BJP Vice President MrSurjeet Singh Slathiaon Wednesday expressed gratitude to the people for their overwhelming support during the assembly elections, making the BJP largest representative party of the Jammu region with its vote share across Jammu and Kashmir highest.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters here, “this is a historic moment in the electoral history of Jammu and Kashmir , reflecting the trust and confidence the people have reposed in the vision and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party”, Slathia said while addressing Vijay Rally here this afternoon.
Slathia attributed the success of 29 BJP candidates from the Jammu region to the party’s developmental model and testament to the consistent efforts integration of Jammu and Kashmir. He said he was personally humbled by the faith and confidence reposed by his constituency by ensuring his victory with a huge margin and assured that he will he will keep the trust of voters by putting in his best for their welfare. This is actually the victory of the people of Samba, who seek progress, peace, and prosperity, he added.
He acknowledged the unwavering support of Karykartas who dedicated themselves to this democratic process. The party will work with renewed energy to uplift the socio-economic status of all segments of the society; he said and referred to the transformation brought about in the Union Territory by the visionary Prime Minister as per his vision of “SabkaSaath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.” In this regard he referred to the accelerated development in key sectors like infrastructure, healthcare, and education. – economic reforms aimed at creating jobs and boosting tourism. – ensuring peace and security for all communities.- strengthening grassroots democracy and governance. – empowerment of youth and women through various initiatives across Jammu and Kashmir post abrogation of Article 370.
He also said the BJP will continue to strive for serving the people of the region with renewed vigor and determination. The trust and mandate given by Jammu people will inspire the party to work even harder to achieve the shared vision of a prosperous and peaceful Jammu & Kashmir., he added.
The former minister lauded the political sagacity of the electors by isolating those who have been working to weaken the social fabric by dividing the community on caste basis for furthering their nefarious agenda. However they could not succeed due to ‘Nation First’ resolve of the valiant people of the region, The Vijay Rally was held to express gratitude to the people of Samba Mandal passed through Kehli Mandi, Lama Mandi, kheri Mandi, Sanwali Mandi, Garh Mandi,Thalora Mandi, Dansala Mandi, Kotli Mandi, Budhwani, Chohatta Main Market ,Link Road and concluded at R.R.Resort Samba.
