Samba: The District Youth Services and Sports Office Samba on Wednesday announced the successful commencement of the Inter Divisional Level Volleyball Tournament for Under-17 & 19 yrs Girls. The grand event is being held at the iconic Rani Suchet Singh Sports Stadium under the supervision of DYSSO Dharmvir Singh.
The Chief Guest, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Sharma along with Guest of Honour ADC Jagdish Singh and other officials graced the event.
A pledge was also taken to take maximum inspiration for sports and abstain from Drugs.
The competition, spanning a diverse array of competitions, provides an unparalleled platform for budding athletes to exhibit their prowess and compete at a grassroots level. This initiative not only promotes physical fitness but also inculcates values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience among the participants.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation of over 24 Girls Players from Jammu Division & Kashmir Division.
