Power shutdown in Rajbagh Srinagar

Srinagar: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out construction of 33KV Pulwama 2nd Circuit under Phase II from 160 MVA GIS Lassipora, the shutdown of 132/ 33 KV GIS Lassipora (160 MVA) shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Pulwama, Pinglena, MM Flour Mill, Covid Hospital and Tenghaar shall remain off while the power supply to the areas that will be affected include Pulwama, Tahab, Koil, Pinglena and Tenghar from 10 AM to 05 PM on 17, 19, 21 and 23rd of October, 2024.
Similarly, to carry out the augmentation of 33KV Pampore Pulwama line, the shutdown of AIS Pampore (200 MVA) shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Kadlabal shall remain off while power supply to the Kadlabal Pampore area shall remain affected from 10 AM to 05 PM on 16th of October, 2024.
Also, in order to carry out the Erection of poles in 11 KV Moshwara feeder (segregation and reconductoring works) under RDSS Works, the shutdown of AIS Kanipora (2×50 MVA) shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Kanipora, Keller and Shadimarg shall remain off while power supply to the Keller, Shadimarg, Moshwara and Kanipora areas shall remain affected from 10 AM to 05 PM on 17 and 19th of October, 2024.
Further, to carry out Looping of trees! Branch cutting and other preventive maintenance works of various 33 KV lines, the shutdown of Shariefabad Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Zainakote, Shalteng and Bakshipora shall remain off while power supply to the Zainakote, Shalteng and Bakshipora areas shall remain affected from 09 AM to 05 PM on 16th of October, 2024.
The shutdown of Wanganpora Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at SH Pora, MR Gunj, Shreen Bagh, Kawdara, and Mughal Masjid shall remain off while power supply to the SH Pora, MR Gunj, Shreen Bagh, Kawdara and Mughal Masjid areas shall remain affected from 09 AM to 05 PM on 19th of October, 2024.
The shutdown of Bemina Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at JVC, PC Depot, SKIMS-JVC and Children Hospital shall remain off while power supply to the Bemina, Parimpora, Children Hospital and JVC areas shall remain affected from 09 AM to 05 PM on 20th of October, 2024.
The shutdown of Bemina Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Bemina I, Bemina II, Moominabad Court Complex and GIS Batmaloo shall remain off while power supply to the Bemina, Moominabad Court Complex and Batmaloo areas shall remain affected from 09 AM to 05 PM on 20th of October, 2024.
The shutdown of Bemina Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Karan Nagar and Shalistore shall remain off while power supply to the Karan Nagar area shall remain affected from 09 AM to 05 PM on 19th of October, 2024.
The shutdown of Wanganpora Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Safakadal and Wanganpora shall remain off while power supply to the Safakadal and Wanganpora areas shall remain affected from 09 AM to 05 PM on 17th of October, 2024.
In order to carry out Shifting of 33 KV line at Thune and Stabilization/ branch cutting along 33 KV Gurez Line, the shutdown of Potshahi Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Gurez, Peerbaba, Tragbal and NHPC shall remain off while power supply to Gurez shall remain affected from 10 AM to 03 PM on 16 and 19th of October, 2024.
The shutdown of Kangan Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Surfraw shall remain off while power supply to the Gagangeer, Sonamarg and Surfraw areas shall remain affected from 10 AM to 03 PM on 17th of October, 2024.
Similarly, in order to carry out Branch Cutting, the shutdown of Kulgam Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Nillow shall remain off while power supply to the Nillow, Arreh, Begam, Sehpora and Mohdpora areas shall remain affected from 10 AM to 02 PM on 16th of October, 2024.
Also, in order to carry out Improvement/ stabilization of said line from Aishmuqam to RMU Pahalgam by way of replacement of poles with damaged pole tops, the shutdown of 132/ 33 KV Gopalpora Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Pahalgam, GIS Pahalgam and Batkoot shall remain off while the power supply to the Powerhouse, Army, Hospital Pahalgam A, B &C Batkoot, Laddi and Yenner areas will be affected from 10 AM to 04 PM on 16, 19 and 23rd of October, 2024.
Further, in order to carry out Reconductoring of 33 KV Alusteng Zakura Line from 0.1 ACSR to 0.2 ACSR, the shutdown of Alusteng Grid Station shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Umerhair shall remain off while power supply to the Ahmednagar, Baspora, (Partially) and Umerhair areas shall remain affected from 11 AM to 04 PM on 19 and 22nd of October, 2024.
