5th IUST Library Committee Meeting held

Awantipora : Prof. Shakil A Romshoo, Vice Chancellor, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) chaired the Library Committee’s meeting and reviewed working and expansion plans of the Library. The meeting was attended by Prof A H Moon- Dean Academic Affairs, Prof A H Wahid -Registrar, Prof Manzoor Ahmad Bhat- Librarian, Dr Sheikh Shoib among others.
According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office IUST here, Prof Romshoo emphasized on the importance of libraries in nurturing intellectual capital. He said that IUST has state-of-the- art Library and is prioritizing strengthening of the departmental libraries as well. The 24×7 facility inaugurated last year has been well received among students and aspirants of different state and national exams. Library resources are being augmented to meet the requirements of the scholars and students.
