DLSA B’pora organizes Awareness Prog on ‘World Mental Health Day’

Bandipora: In accordance with the directions of J&K Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora in coordination with Tehsil Legal Services Committee Sumbal and in collaboration with Education Department Bandipora organized an awareness programme on ‘World Mental Health Day’ at Government High School Trigam Sumbal.
The programme was organized under the guidance of Chairman (Principal District and Sessions Judge Bandipora) and supervision of Secretary District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora,
Advocate Sheikh Ajaz, Panel Lawyer of TLSC Sumbal was the resource person. He stressed that mental health has become the priority of the present day. Mental health is the growing concern of the fast developing societies and the focus of the programmes like this is always to devise the ways and means to cope with this salient killer. The speaker stressed upon resorting to spirituality to minimize these risks.
The programme was attended by officials, PLVs, panel lawyers and students of the said institutions, and other participants.
