SSP B’gam flags off group of students for Bharat Darshan Tour-2023-24

Srinagar : As a part of Civic Action Programme of J&K Police, Police in Budgam on Thursday flagged off group of 66 students of district Budgam with 05 caretakers for a week-long Bharat Darshan Tour-2023-24. The tour is organized by District Police Budgam and all boarding and lodging facilities including air tickets are being provided to the students by J&K Police.
The SSP Budgam Nikhil Borkar flagged off the students for Bharat Darshan Tour at DPL Budgam and the ceremony was attended by Addl. SP Budgam Ragav S, DySP DAR Budgam and other senior officers of district Police Budgam. Besides, the SSP Budgam while interacting with the students said that Bharat Darshan tour is primarily aimed at providing opportunity to the students of the district to understand the diversity, culture of different regions of India and advised them to avail the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and marvels of the country and said that it is an effort of J&K Police to provide a platform for the students to experience the beauty of the nation and imbibe the varied learning from the journey and besides wished them a safe and secure tour.
During the tour, students will visit cities of Delhi and Kolkata besides historical sites, monuments and parks of these cities. Accommodation has been arranged and all the students have been given a kit that contains a customized tracksuit, a pair of shoes, socks, cap and a carry bag. The group will be assisted by a guide who would be highlighting the significance of the spots and their importance to make the trip educational and informative as well. Parents and students applauded the efforts made by Police for this initiative and thanked District Police Budgam for providing them this invaluable opportunity.
