Jammu: Jammu Police on Monday said that it has recovered5o missing mobile phones with estimated cost of Rs 7.5-8.0 lakhs in Rural Zone of Jammu district.
In a statement issued from District Police Headquarters Jammu Police said that ESU team of SP Rural Office Jammu recovered 50 mobile phones, adding therein that missing reports of these mobile phones were lodged by people in different Police Stations/Police Posts of Rural zone Jammu.
Stating that as the report of missing mobile phones reached ESU unit through Concerned SHOs/ICPPs, Police in its statement further said that ESU unit of SP Rural office Jammu were assigned the task of tracing out the missing mobile phones and with the sincere efforts of ESU team under the close guidance and supervision of SP Rural Jammu, 50 missing mobile phones were traced out from various Districts of J&K with the help of concerned SDPOs, SHOs and ICPPs. Police in its statement further said that the estimated cost of the said recovered mobile phones is approximately Rs 7.5-8 lakhs and with the recovery of these mobile phones many mobile missing reports has been-closed, adding therein that people who received their lost mobile phones appreciated the police for its timely actions.
