Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir BJP Chief Ravinder Raina has expressed confidence that his party will win 35 seats in the assembly elections, positioning the BJP as the largest party in the region.
Raina emphasized that with the support of independents and like-minded allies, the BJP plans to cross the majority threshold of 50 seats to form the government. Raina highlighted the popularity of BJP rallies featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah as indicators of the party’s growing support. He also said that the nomination of five MLAs under the Reorganization Act would aid the party’s chances. The BJP has already strategized with senior leaders and remains optimistic about securing a significant victory.
