“National Essay Writing Competition Conducted In The Office Of The Principal Accountant General, J&K

Jammu : The Office of Principal Accountant General, Jammu & Kashmir, conducted the National Essay Writing Competition 2024 as part of the All India National Essay Writing Competition organized by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India across all States and UTs on 4th October from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
In J&K, the event was organized at the Head Office Srinagar and the Branch Office Jammu. A large number of college students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their talent through essay writing. The Participants were allowed to write essay in either Hindi or English. This competition marks the beginning of the upcoming Audit Diwas celebrations on 16th Nov, 2024.
As per scheme of the National Essay Writing Competition 2024, the participants were given an opportunity to register online. Those who failed to register before the deadline were accommodated through on the spot registration for which help desk was set up at both the locations, i.e; head office Srinagar and branch office jammu.
The essay will be evaluated separately in English and Hindi and winners of the competition will be awarded cash prizes: First Prize – Rs. 50,000, Second Prize – Rs. 40,000, and Third Prize Rs. 30,000. All students who participated in the competition shall receive participation certificate in digital format. Result will be declared by 5th November 2024, and the awards will be distributed during Audit Diwas on 16th November 2024.
The week following the Audit Diwas is celebrated as Audit Week in the field offices of Comptroller and Auditor General of India. In J&K Audit week will be celebrated from 18th November 2024 to 23rd November 2024. During the Audit Week, a number of activities and events will be organized, including workshops, blood donation camp, cultural programs other activities.
