Srinagar: The first week of the ongoing month has been forecasted by the Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Tuesday to be largely dry in J&K.
The weatherman from the MeT Centre Srinagar said that there would be generally dry weather in J&K from 1-6 October and expected a light rain towards the night of the 7th of October over isolated to scattered places in J&K.
The chance for the light rain to occur in parts of J&K on the 8th of October’s morning has not been ruled out by the weatherman.
After the likely brief wet spell, the MeT Department said that the dry weather again would be observed from 9-12 of this month.
Meanwhile, the farmers have been suggested to continue the harvesting and other farm operations during the forecasted period.
