Jammu: In the third and final phase of voting in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP leader Ravindra Raina expressed gratitude to the people of the state for voting.
In the third and final phase of voting in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP’s senior leader Ravindra Raina while talking to reporters in Jammu expressed gratitude to the people of the state for voting and expressed hope that the Bharatiya Janata Party government will be formed. Apart from this, Devendra Singh Rana also claimed that the BJP will form the government with absolute majority.
Ravindra Raina said, “There has been tremendous voting in the assembly elections of Jammu and Kashmir and in the third phase also, voters are standing in long queues since morning and exercising their franchise. For this I thank the people of Jammu and Kashmir. I also thank our Jammu and Kashmir Police, Paramilitary Force, Indian Army and Election Commission, who have conducted the assembly elections of Jammu and Kashmir very well.”
He further said, “The festival of our democracy has progressed in a wonderful manner. This is the victory of our democracy and I believe that the peaceful manner in which the elections were held in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have certainly voted wholeheartedly. There has been an unprecedented turnout and I hope that the BJP will get the support of the people and the next government of Jammu and Kashmir will be of the BJP.”
Another Senior BJP leader Devendra Singh Rana said, “Today is a very big festival of democracy. There is enthusiasm in the whole of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the third phase. People have cast their votes in the first two phases and the kind of trends that are coming out, it is absolutely clear that the BJP is going to form a government with full majority here.” Another BJP candidate told IANS, “As a citizen, it is your duty to cast your vote. At present, these long queues are an indication that we have worked at the grassroots level and people have listened to us and have come to cast their votes. National Conference and PDP mourn the death of traitors of the country and forget the martyrdom of the brave soldiers of the country. Our jawan named Bashir Ahmed was martyred in Kathua, on which these people did not say anything. But if a terrorist has been killed, then they are mourning for that.”
