Srinagar : Kashmir-based medico cum noted health columnist Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo attended international webinar on global diabetes, organized by International Diabetes Federation(IDF).
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Dr Tasaduk said that diabetes is emerging as a major public health concern, and it is crucial to adopt screening and prevention strategies to early detect and control it to prevent complications; that is why diabetes education is key for the prevention of diabetes.
Pertinently, Dr Itoo is working as a doctor in SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Jammu and is a cordial member of International Diabetes Federation(IDF).
The speakers discussed about the aims and objectives to enhance global diabetes care, besides emphasizing on the role of registries in dealing with the global burden of diabetes.
