Jammu: Police on Monday said that it has arrested three individuals with sharp edged weapons from R S Pura area of Jammu district.
In a statement issued from District Police Headquarters Jammu Police said that a police team from RS Pura Police Station, led by SHO Police Statement R S Pura, Astt Sub Inspector Police Jang Bahadur Singh, and other officials, conducted a successful operation on September 29at Purana Pind Chowk, RS Pura, adding therein that during a routine naka checking the team officials intercepted a triple-riding motorcycle with registration number JK02DG9812 traveling from Satrayian towards RS Pura.
Stating that upon searching the vehicle, two sharp-edged weapons, known as tokas, were recovered from the occupants, who were carrying them with alleged criminal intent, Police in its statement further said that the said individuals were identified as: Manoj Kumar, Son Of Lakhwinder Kumar, R/O Purana Pind, Nishant Kumar, S/O Kartar Chand, R/OSidhrey, and Roshan Kumar, S/O Shankar Dass, R/O Sidhrey. Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement said that a case has been registered under FIR No. 212/2024, Sections 3(5) BNS and 4/25 Arms Act, at the police station.
