Jammu: A wreath-laying ceremony was held at Gulshan Ground on Sunday evening to pay floral tributes to J&K Police Head Constable Bashir Ahmed who attained martyrdom fighting against militants in Billawar tehsil of Kathua district.
Nalin Prabhat, Director General of Police, Operations and Security J&K, Police officers, colleagues, and family members paid rich tributes and laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains of the martyr.
Later the body was handed over to his next of kin for last rites.
