Gaza: At least six Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a residential house in the central Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to Palestinian sources.
The attack targeted a house located west of the Nuseirat refugee camp, resulting in the deaths of six individuals, including a woman, and leaving others wounded, as reported by the Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza.
Rescue teams continue to search for those who may be trapped under the rubble of the destroyed house and surrounding buildings. There has been no immediate comment from Israeli authorities regarding the incident.
Israel launched a large-scale offensive against Hamas in Gaza to retaliate against a Hamas rampage through the southern Israeli border on Oct. 7, 2023, during which about 1,200 people were killed and more than 250 others taken hostage.
