Jammu: The All India Professionals’ Congress hosted the ‘Dogri Dham with RG’ event today, featuring a significant engagement with the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
The event drew 328 business owners and professionals from various sectors across Jammu and Kashmir, who participated in an open forum to discuss the region’s economic climate. Due to overwhelming interest, attendance was limited to accommodate capacity constraints. The event included a candid Q&A session where Gandhi addressed specific concerns raised by the audience regarding the challenges facing businesses in the region. Gandhi emphasized his commitment to economic development and job creation, promising that the forthcoming Congress alliance government in Jammu and Kashmir would prioritize these areas. He outlined potential policy initiatives, including export incentives, enhanced access to capital for MSMEs, and measures to reduce tax-related harassment.
