Jammu: In a remarkable display of efficiency and dedication, the Police Post Chowk Chabutra in Jammu has solved a motorcycle theft case in a record time of just two days.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu Police said that the theft occurred on 24th September when Sunil Nagpal’s scooty, bearing registration number JK02 CN 1528, was stolen from Pacca Danga, in Jammu. The Police in its statement further said “Upon receiving the complaint, a case was registered at Police Station Pacca Danga Jammu (FIR No. 115/2024 U/S 303 (2) BNS), and a special team was formed to track down the accused”.
Stating that the team led by SHO Police Station Pacca Danga and assisted by IC Police Post Chowk Chabutra worked tirelessly under the supervision of SDPO City North Jammu, Police in its statement further said ” efforts of the team paid off when they apprehended Arun Mehta, son of Madan Lal, a resident of Ratnuchak, Jammu”, adding therein that following Mehta’s disclosure, the stolen scooty was recovered and seized.
