Jammu, Sep 26: To boost the last leg of campaigning in Jammu region for the third phase of Assembly polls in J&K slated for October 1, senior BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditiyanath today said that the ongoing Assembly polls are going to be historic in nature and if BJP is voted to power, Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) will “automatically join the Indian Union”.

“Pakistan has failed to save democracy and the country is falling. The people of Balochistan are protesting against the Pakistan government’s policy on the pretext the chemistry of Balochistan people and rest of Pakistan doesn’t match at all,” Yogi said as per NVI said while addressing a massive rally at Ramgrah in Vijaypur in Jammu.

Yogi said in Pakistan, Atta per kg costs Rs 500 in Pakistan while as Prime Minister Narendera Modi gives 80 Crore people of India free ration and 60 Crore are getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh which has been enhanced upto Rs 7 lakh. “Paksitan is sinking and India is progressing on all fronts,” he said.

He said it was because of Prime Minister Narendera Modi’s efforts that the Kartarpur corridor was thrown open. “Today, J&K is known as the tourism capital instead of terrorism capital,” Yogi said.

The UP Chief Minister said that there was a time when BJP had to seek permission for unfurling tricolour at Lal Chowk but today, the national flag is flying high. “Not only is this, G-20 summit was held in Srinagar,” he said.

Yogi said that earlier, Amarnath Yatra was facing threats but today devotees all over the country are coming with the slogans of “Bham Bham Bholay” and taking the fragrance of Lord Shiva to all parts of the country. “Lakhs of people are coming to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine,” he said.

Lashing out at NC, Congress and PDP for ruining J&K, Yogi said that it was the PM Modi led government that gave voting rights to West Pakistan Refugees and Valmikis, who were deprived of these rights by those who ruled J&K. “These were the parties who supported terrorism in 1990 and enjoyed vacations in Europe and England,” Yogi said referring to National Conference chief Dr Farooq Abdullah.

The UP Chief Minister, who is the chief campaigner of BJP for J&K, said that huge turnout in J&K is scripting a new history and those opposing BJP will be given a befitting reply.

Taking a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Yogi said the Leader of Opposition (LoP) must answer whether he supports NC’s agenda of promoting terrorism in Kashmir again and restoring the old bad days when there were two flags, two constitutions and two leaders. He sought support for BJP candidates in fray for the last phase of Assembly polls.
