Bhaderwah:: The District Youth Services & Sports Department organised the UT Level Inter Division Volleyball Tournament for under-19 boys at the Government PG ground in Bhaderwah.
The tournament featured two teams from the Jammu and Kashmir divisions, showcasing the best young volleyball talent from across the J&K. The event was officially declared open by District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Sunil Kumar, in the presence of ZPEO DodaSurinder Singh.
While addressing the young players, Sunil Kumar emphasized the importance of such tournaments in nurturing sports talent and developing teamwork among youth. He also urged the students to stay away from drug abuse and to maintain a healthy lifestyle through sports.
The matches witnessed intense competition, with the Kashmir Division team narrowly defeating the Jammu Division team in a thrilling 3-2 sets victory. The games were marked by exceptional sportsmanship, teamwork and enthusiastic support from both participants and spectators, making the tournament an exciting display of athletic excellence.
