Khansahib (B’gam) : Maintaining that upcoming legislative assembly shall be extraordinary to safeguard identity of the people of Jammu & Kashmir and their rights on their land , employment and socio -political empowerment, Chairman Peoples Democratic Front (PDF ) and candidate for the Khansahib and Chrar I Sharief assembly constituencies , Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen on Monday asked people to cast their vote in favour of trusted , upright and honest candidates . He appealed people to reject dynasty politics which has damaged the socio – political aspirations of the people since1947.
Addressing a mega poll rally in Khansahib Budgam on the concluding day of election campaigning for 2nd phase of ongoing assembly elections on Monday , Hakeem said that people should vote exclusively for their trusted candidates who won’t ditch them later but have a grit to fight for restoration of their constitutional and democratic rights .
Hakeem assured the people that his party PDF would offer any sacrifice for protecting rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir on thier land, employment and political empowerment. He urged the people to elect assembly members on the basis of their performance on the ground and not get swayed by the hollow and emotional slogans. “We shall have to defeat divisive and anti secular forces who were infringing on our religious affairs and creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation, Hakeem added.
PDF Chairman extended his gratitude to the people for welcoming and participating in large numbers, in various election rallies of PDF during the election campaigning.
