Jammu: In a swift and efficient operation, the Police Post Rehari in Jammu has solved a motorcycle theft case, arresting the thief and recovering the stolen property within just three days.
In a statement issued from District Police Headquarters Jammu Police said that the investigation of the case was started on September 19when Prittam Sharma reported the theft of his Bullet motorcycle, bearing registration number JK14 E-7704, from Rehari Chungi, Jammu.
Stating that a case was registered under FIR No: 112/2024 at Police Station Pacca Danga besides initiating an investigation, Police in its statement said that a special team, led by SHO Police Station Pacca Danga and assisted by In Charge Police Post Rehari Shah, worked tirelessly under the supervision of SDPO City North Jamm. Police in its statement further said that while utilizing CCTV footage, two suspects identified as Dheeraj Singh (@ Kaka) and Happy Kumar (@ Pappi) were apprehended, adding therein that upon interrogation the stolen motorcycle was recovered and seized from the accused. Police in its statement also said that investigation of the case is underway.
