Distt Admin G’bal all set for Polls on 25th, DEO urges citizens to exercise their voting rights

Ganderbal : The District Administration Ganderbal is fully prepared for the upcoming elections scheduled for September 25, 2024.
District Election Officer (DEO), Shyambir has called on all eligible voters to participate in this important democratic process and exercise their right to vote.
In his message, the DEO emphasized the importance of voter turnout, urging all citizens to come out of their homes and cast their votes. He highlighted the significance of choosing their franchise, stating that each vote contributes to the future development of the district and the welfare of its people.
To ensure a smooth voting process, the DEO has reminded voters to bring any one of the approved identity documents to the polling booth for verification.
The DEO also reassured voters that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a safe and secure voting environment across all polling stations in the district.
Furthermore, all voters are required to carry a valid physical identity card to their respective polling stations besides mobile phones will not be allowed inside the polling stations for the purpose of maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the voting process.
