Jammu : Pradesh BJP Vice President Surjeet Singh Slathia on Friday assailed the Congress for furthering Pakistan’s nefarious agenda in Jammu and Kashmir, saying the dynastic dominance and lust for power has caused huge dent to the national cause.
Addressing series of election rallies in the support of BJP candidate for Ramgarh Assembly Constituency Davinder Manyal at Village Bandral, Kesso, Kamore, Rangoor ,Babral Nanga, Abtaal, Dug, Showni and Mahalsha , Slathia said the open support by a Federal Minister of Pakistan to the Congress and National Conference on the issue of Article 370 and 35A has exposed the two parties.
He said the Congress has been in complete disarray after being rejected by the people of India since the past over one decade, and in sheer frustration its leaders are not shying away in aligning with China and Pakistan due to their inherent hate for the most popular leader of the world and beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi. What could be lowest depth of the Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi than defaming India on the foreign soil, he asked and blamed the Leader of Opposition for igniting caste divide.
Slathia said that Pakistan’s endorsement to the Congress- NC alliance on Article 370 has exposed the real face and sinister machinations of the allies . This amounts to hatching a sinister conspiracy to disempower marginalised sections like Valmikis, SCs, STs, OBCs and the West Pakistan Refugees who have hugely benefited post political developments of August 5, 2019, not only politically but after the extension of various welfare schemes to Jammu and Kashmir, he said, adding that Article 370 was a major roadblock in this regard. He said the Congress-NC opposition to the abrogation and support of the neighbouring rogue country to its reinstatement is aligning with Pakistan’s interests.
Slathia castigated Congress-NC alliance for supporting Pakistan narrative on Article 370, saying that the politically sagacious people of Jammu and Kashmir will give them a befitting reply through power of vote. He exhorted the electors to come out in huge numbers to vote for the BJP for peace, progress and development of Jammu and Kashmir, which is witnessing a new era of hope and promise since the past over five years.
Describing Davinder Maniyal, the BJP candidate for the Ramgarh Constituency as a dedicated and missionary leader, Slathia said vote and support to him will strengthen the country and the hands of the Prime Minister to steer India becoming the world leader.
