Kulgam: A residential house was gutted in a massive fire that broke out in south Kashmiri’s Kulgam district during nocturnal hours on Friday, Locals said.
They said that the fire broke out during night at around 01: 45 AM, at Panipora in Kulgam causing damage to the house belonging to the poor family.
“Soon after the incident, the fire tenders reached the spot to douse off the flames with assistance of locals, however, by then, the house had suffered extensive damage”, they said.
Meanwhile, locals urged the government to provide compensation to the affected family.
