Jammu : Union minister and J&K Election Incharge, G. Kishan Reddy, on Friday said that NC-Cong have been working on the agenda of Pakistan and they want to revive militancy and snatch books from the from the youth and give stones in their hands.
“Before 2019, there used to be 128 working days in schools in J&K, which have now increased to 210,” Reddy said, while talking to reporters after attending the meeting of BJP workers at Reasi. He said that BJP has established peace in J&K but NC-Cong want unrest and revive militancy in Kashmir. “NC-Cong have been working of Pak agenda which became crystal clear after the statement of Paksitan’s Defence Minister,” he said, while adding, “people want peace will reject these parties in the elections”.
Historical voter turnout was recorded in the first phase of Assembly elections with 80.14% in Kishtwar, 71.34% in Doda, 70.55% in Ramban, and 62.60% in Kulgam, with an overall turnout of 61.13%, he said. The high voter turnout has disturbed the NC-Cong and Pakistan as well, he said adding that people have voted for peace and development and BJP will form next government in J&K on its own.
While campaigning for the party’s candidate Kuldip Raj Dubey in the Reasi Assembly constituency, Reddy appealed to the people to come out in large numbers and reject the divisive politics of NC-Cong. He also held an important meeting at the party office in Reasi to discuss election strategy. The meeting was attended by Mandal Presidents, former BDC members, former Sarpanchs, and Shakti Kendra Pramukhs, and local leadership. Uttarakhand Minister Dhan Singh Rawat was also present in the meeting. They emphasized that workers must reach out to the general public and inform them about the welfare measures taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. After the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, J&K is moving on the path of development, prosperity, and peace.
