” Congress Promoting Corruption, Attacking Dogra Heritage, J&K Railway Connectivity Boosts Tourism, Over 2 Cr Visitors A Year A New Record”

“Ongoing Power Projects in J&K Set to Provide Jobs, Electricity”

Srinagar: Accusing the National Conference and Congress of aligning with Pakistan’s agenda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated today that the BJP will never allow the neighboring country to interfere in Jammu and Kashmir and emphasized that there is no question of reinstating Article 370
“I was surprised to see Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif claiming that Pakistan and the NC-Congress alliance share the same stance on Article 370 and Article 35A,” Modi said during a major election rally in Katra, Jammu. He reaffirmed that as long as the BJP is in power, there will be no reinstatement of Article 370. “We will not permit the Pakistani agenda to influence J&K,” Modi declared. He also reiterated the BJP’s commitment to restoring statehood to J&K as promised.
Targeting the Abdullahs, Muftis, and Gandhis, Modi accused these families of consistently neglecting Reasi and Kathua. “These parties even allowed our water to flow across the border and failed to build the Shahpur Kandi dam. It was the BJP that constructed the dam, ensuring water supply for hundreds of farmers,” he said.
Modi criticized Congress for its “Naxal thinking” and alleged that they attacked the Dogra heritage in Jammu and promoted widespread corruption. “Congress sells hatred while pretending to offer love. They have done a grave injustice to Jammu,” he added. He contrasted Congress’s efforts to defame Maharaja Hari Singh with the BJP’s respect for his legacy, highlighting the BJP’s decision to declare a holiday on his birthday. Modi pointed out the BJP’s achievements, including the world’s highest rail bridge over the Chenab River, which is several feet higher than the Eiffel Tower. He also mentioned the launch of the Vande Bharat Express train from Delhi to Katra and the improvement of railway facilities in Katra and Reasi. Modi noted that ongoing power projects like Pakal Dul, Ratle, Kiru, and Kawar will provide both electricity and job opportunities for Jammu’s youth. He highlighted the new Medical College in Udhampur and the completed district hospital in Reasi.
Modi emphasized that improved railway connectivity has attracted over 2 crore tourists to J&K, with more than 95 lakh visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine alone. He expressed confidence that the region will continue to see record tourist numbers, which will benefit the local economy.
