Shopian : On a momentous day for democracy, the polling process began early morning Wednesday across the 36-Zainapora and 37-Shopian Assembly Constituencies, with voters turning out in large numbers to participate in the electoral process.
The District Election Authority (DEA) went above and beyond to make this election a memorable occasion, particularly for first-time voters and voters who reported first in the polling stations.
District Election Officer, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar along with SSP, Anayat Ali honoured some of these voters at the polling stations.
