Jammu: The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has lambasted mainstream political parties in Jammu and Kashmir for neglecting basic issues like unemployment, instead focusing on traditional concerns like the Kashmir issue.
Addressing a public gathering in Jammu’s Nanak area, APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina criticized parties for failing to fill over one lakh government vacancies, prioritizing dynastic politics over people’s welfare. He cited examples of National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) promoting family members, leaving educated youth jobless.
Raina urged voters to be vigilant in the upcoming assembly elections, supporting candidates who can address their problems. He emphasized the need for new leadership to tackle unemployment, highlighting sectors like tourism and floriculture that can provide jobs.
APSCC claimed to have a blueprint for addressing youth unemployment, emphasizing the need for willpower from those in power
