Paras Health Srinagar Launches Exclusive Senior Citizen Privilege Card to Enhance Healthcare Access for the Elderly

Srinagar: In a heartfelt initiative to cater to the growing healthcare needs of senior citizens in Srinagar, Paras Health is proud to announce the launch of its exclusive Senior Citizen Privilege Card. This program is designed to provide personalized and compassionate healthcare services to the elderly, ensuring they are never deprived of the care they deserve. The launch event, held in conjunction with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and National Nutrition Week, marks a pivotal moment in Paras Health’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the senior citizens in the region.
The Senior Citizen Privilege Card offers a range of benefits that go beyond mere discounts, focusing on handholding seniors at every step of their healthcare journey. Cardholders will enjoy special discounts on outpatient consultations, laboratory tests, radiology services, and admission bills, along with the added convenience of a free ambulance pick-up service within a 5km radius of the hospital. With an annual membership fee of just Rs 500, the card provides OPD consultations with all specialists and super-specialists at this reduced rate, ensuring that seniors receive the best possible care without financial strain. Ghulam Ahmad Shah, Senior Leader Pensioners United Front graced the occasion of launch of Senior Citizen Privilege Card. During the launch, Mr Ahmad Ayaz Beigh, Secretary J&K Muslim Personal Law Board, appreciated the initiative and said, “This is a very noble initiative by Paras to serve the aging population, we hope that the community in large will take this benefit. While attending this event, we have learnt various special needs of the aging population through the esteemed panel of doctors from Paras Health.” Dr Dharminder Nagar, MD, Paras Health, shared his enthusiasm about the new initiative and asserted that “We are happy and proud to introduce the Senior Citizen Privilege Card, a reflection of our commitment to building a healthier Bharat through compassionate and accessible healthcare for the elderly.
