Kishtwar : The General Observer for the 48-Inderwal Assembly Constituency, Dr. A ArunThamburaj participated in a key training session for polling staff, including personnel designated for Women-Centric Polling Stations. The training was held in the DIET Meeting Hall, Kishtwar, in preparation for the upcoming Assembly Elections.
The session was designed to equip polling staff with comprehensive knowledge of electoral procedures, protocols, and responsibilities, ensuring the smooth and transparent conduct of the elections.
Dr.Thamburaj emphasized the critical role polling personnel play in maintaining the integrity of the democratic process, ensuring that elections are free, fair, and transparent.
The training program was also attended by the Returning Officer for the 48-Inderwal constituency, Nodal Officer for Training, Riaz Ahmed Butt, and other key officials.
Addressing the participants, he reiterated the importance of vigilance, proper conduct, and adherence to electoral guidelines during the election process.
