DC Poonch reviews preparations for Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi (SAW)

Poonch : Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal convened a meeting here on Friday to assess the preparations for EidMilad-un-Nabi (S.A.W). The discussions centred on ensuring essential services and smooth management of the religious Day.
DC Kundal directed the concerned departments to ensure the seamless availability of essential services, particularly during the festival. The Food, Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, and Legal Metrology departments were instructed to conduct regular market inspections to ensure the availability of quality food items at reasonable prices. Additionally, food safety protocols were discussed to ensure public health.
Special focus was placed on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, particularly in and around religious Places and market areas.
The meeting was attended by SSP Poonch, ADC, ACR, and officials from Traffic Police, Transport, Power, Health, PHE, Food and Civil Supplies, and other concerned departments.
