An official told that on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam Sahil Sarangal extra security measures have been implemented along Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Qazigund to ensure incident free elections in the region.
“Checkpoints have been erected in many places along Jammu-Srinagar NH and frisking has been intensified. Security personnel are seen at many places stopping and checking the vehicles”, he said.
