GDC Marheen organizes Signature Campaign to promote Voter Awareness

Kathua : The Voter Literacy Club of Government Degree College (GDC), Marheen organized a Signature Campaign to raise awareness among students about their right to vote.
The initiative was held under the patronage of the esteemed the College Principal, Prof. Anupama Gupta, with the objective of encouraging active participation in the upcoming J&K Legislative Assembly Election 2024.
Prof. Gupta addressed the students personally, sharing her insights on the importance of voting in a democracy. She urged the students to cast their votes with full enthusiasm, emphasizing the power of their voice in shaping the future. The Principal also took time to respond to students’ queries on the spot, providing valuable guidance on the electoral process and its significance.
The programme witnessed active participation from the students, who eagerly engaged in the signature campaign, showcasing their commitment to becoming informed and responsible voters.
