Ramban: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Er. Gulam Ali Khatana, during his tour of Ramban district today, held several public meetings across the region.
The tour saw scores of people from tribal communities expressing their support for the BJP, joining the party, and putting their faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Er. Khatana visited multiple panchayats, including Batote, Shapa, and Rakh Jaroka, where he addressed large gatherings of local residents. He highlighted the developmental initiatives undertaken by the central government in Jammu and Kashmir and encouraged the public to vote for BJP candidates in the upcoming elections.

Addressing the meeting, the MP underscored the government’s relentless efforts to ensure the empowerment and upliftment of Jammu and Kashmir’s residents. “Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the central government is working tirelessly for the development and empowerment of Jammu and Kashmir and its Awam (people),” he said.

One of the key highlights of Khatana’s visit was the growing support for the BJP among the tribal communities in Ramban. Large numbers of tribal residents, who have traditionally been underrepresented in mainstream political circles, declared their allegiance to the BJP. The MP emphasized that the government’s policies are focused on bringing marginalized communities into the fold of progress and development.

The inclusion of tribal groups into the BJP’s fold is seen as a significant achievement for the party, particularly in the context of upcoming elections. Their participation strengthens the BJP’s foothold in areas that have long been neglected in terms of development, and it also boosts the party’s presence in remote and rural areas. Khatana reassured the tribal communities that their needs and concerns would be addressed through concrete actions.

During his addresses, Er. Khatana appealed to the public to continue supporting the BJP and its candidates to ensure the region’s sustained progress. “Modi Ji has brought significant changes in J&K, now it is our responsibility to strengthen BJP and Modi Ji. Elect your own government, a BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir,” Khatana urged the crowds.

He outlined the significant strides made under the BJP government, particularly in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and social welfare. Khatana stressed that the central government has been investing in Jammu and Kashmir’s future, ensuring that the benefits of these initiatives reach every citizen, especially those in rural and underserved areas like Ramban.

In addition to his speeches, the MP spent considerable time listening to the grievances and concerns of the public in Batote, Shapa, and other panchayats. Issues related to road infrastructure, access to healthcare, and educational facilities were raised by local residents, who expressed hope that the BJP government would address their challenges.

Khatana assured the public that their concerns would be taken up with the appropriate authorities. He stressed that the BJP is committed to fulfilling its promises and that the region’s development is a top priority for both the party and the central government.
