Basohli in deliberately neglected by Cong representatives: Dr Jitendra

Jammu : Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh on Thursday said that BJP will not allow Congress and the National Conference to push back Jammu and Kashmir into the same condition from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi has so painstakingly pulled it out and put it on the path of progress, development, and equal rights for every citizen.
Addressing an election rally in support of the Ramban Assembly candidate Rakesh Thakur in Sanasar, Dr. Singh asked the audience, would they like the Congress Party to once again deprive them of their legitimate rights as was the condition before August 5, 2019.
“Would our brothers and sisters like to become refugees again,” he asked Dr. Singh particularly addressed the women in the audience and asked, “will you like your daughters to be deprived of the property rights of their parents as were the conditions before August 5, 2019”. At this, all the women folk in the audience loudly responded in one voice, “No, no.”
The Union Minister went on to say, that the Congress and National Conference are repeatedly claiming that they will restore Article 370 and deprive the daughters and sisters of Jammu and Kashmir of their property rights.
He said, This is a mischievous design of these political parties and their leaders to retain and grab the properties of their sisters and daughters and serve their selfish interests.” He said, Today’s age is of the 21st century, when India is a part of the global world, and will all this ever be allowed or digested? The BJP is determined not to ever allow this to happen because Modi has liberated us from such draconian laws with tremendous courage, he added.
Dr. Singh said Ramban was the central point of the National Highway from Jammu to Srinagar, but each time it made news or headlines in the newspaper, it was for landslides causing road blocks for days together, and the prices of essential commodities would go up multiple times, causing hardship for stranded passengers.
The same Ramban today, said Dr. Singh, is only two hours away from Jammu, as the traffic is so smooth and roadblocks and landslides are things of the past. He said all this has been made possible with the patronage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as a result of which we have new bridges, road tunnels, and new highways built across the Ramban region.
The MLAs from Congress and NC who were part of the government in the state did not find it important to attend to this area and became insecure, he added.
Appealing for a vote for the BJP candidate, Dr. Jitendra Singh said it is essential that the Ramban receive a voice in the Assembly and all their problems and issues go on record, which may be addressed by authorities here. The benefits of the double engine and the benefits provided by the Modi government will smoothly be translated on the ground by the BJP representative from here.
Dr. Singh said the BJP is a cadre-based party, and all its Karyakartas believe in “Nation first” and collectively work for the victory of “Lotus.”.
