IUST organizes Outreach Program on Industry 4.0 Technologies

Awantipora : The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) on Monday conducted an outreach program at Govt. M.L. Higher Secondary School, Bijbehera. As part of IUST’s Community Connect initiative, the program titled Industry 4.0 Technologies aimed to equip students with knowledge about the latest technological advancements shaping industries globally.
Supported by the e-Yantra Lab at IUST and coordinated by Syed Mujtiba Hussain, Assistant Professor, CSE, the program was coordinated by Dr.Sajaad Lone, Head, Department of CSE. Dr.SahilSholla, Outreach Coordinator, played a pivotal role in organizing the event. Key sessions included Iraq Ahmad Reshi’s presentation on the Internet of Things (IoT), Aga BasitIqbal’s discussion on Artificial Intelligence (AI), and a live demonstration of Firebird robots by Nayeem Ahmad Sheikh. These sessions provided students with valuable insights into the impact of Industry 4.0 technologies. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, furthering IUST’s mission to promote technological education and contribute to the region’s socio-economic development.
