Khansahib (B’gam): Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Saturday submitted his nomination papers for Khansahib assembly constituency before the Returning officer.
A large gathering including PDF workers and his supporters accompanied him in a procession upto the office of the Returning Officer. Later Hakeem Yaseen , amid slogans told the gathering vowed to leave no stone unturned for safeguarding dignity and identity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. ” My first priority in the assembly would be to fight for protecting rights of the local populations on land and employment”, PDF Chairman said, adding therein that any move to change the demographic status of Jammu and Kashmir would be opposed tooth and nail . He said PDF along with other likeminded political parties , would move a constitutional motion , in the upcoming legislative assembly for restoration of all constitutional rights which were usurped unilaterally and arbitrarily post August 5,192019 in Jammu and Kashmir Hakeem vowed to take Khansahib and Budgam areas to the new highs of development and prosperity.
